Sarah was exposed to Covid and was locked up in her dorm room for Pesach. David came down with Covid far away from home. Amanda, a medical student was being extremely cautious and was going to be alone for the Seder. Their parents were at ease because they knew that Chabad Student Center had Seder meals and kits delivered to them and other students. Jordan never had a Bar Mitzvah and did not own Teffilin. A new pair of Teffilin was ordered and Jordan celebrated his Bar Mitzvah with his Chabad family.
From in person to virtual, Chabad Student Center is here to fill the needs of every college student providing a safe, homey Jewish environment where every student is part of the family.
We are dedicated to serving our community - and now you can partner with us to ensure a bright Jewish future, together.
Running an operation like Chabad Student Center requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbi and Rebbetzin work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, 7 generous donors have come forward with a proposal to help Chabad thrive this year. Together they will donate $45,000 to Chabad Student Center provided that it is matched by an equal donation from the members of the community.
For 90 hours only, your dollar will have DOUBLE the impact!
You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the students of FAU, Lynn & PBSC by contributing to our campaign, and by spreading the word. Maimonides says that every good deed, no matter how small, tips the scale of humanity toward goodness. Today you have the opportunity to see the impact of that deed multiplied many times over. Join us by making a donation today!
